RULES OF THE SCHOOL

Decorum:

  • Wear ironed tidy uniform.
  • Keep shoes polished.
  • Nail trimming will be checked every Monday.
  • Hair trimming must be done on the 1/15th date of every month.

Latecomers:

  • Latecomers should not enter the class without permission from the principal/office.
  • Twice a week of late attendance will result in being sent back home or bringing the parents.

Leave:

  • Before taking leave, obtain a leave application form from the office.
  • Leave letter must be submitted in advance.
  • In case of illness, parents must provide a leave letter on the same day; otherwise, fines may apply, or the student will be sent back home, and parents need to be informed.

General:

  • Students must bring sharpened pencils, erasers, rulers, and sharpeners daily.
  • Use only blue ink pens (from III to IX).
  • Red ink pens are allowed for question writing and underlining.
  • Geometry Box is required for students from IV to IX.

Punctuality And Attendance:

  • Students must be punctual for school every working day.
  • Latecomers should not enter the class without the written permission of the principal.
  • No student may be absent without obtaining leave in advance. Absences will be indicated in the attendance register as follows:
  • "L" if the leave letter has been submitted.
  • "M" if the medical leave letter has been submitted.
  • "A" if no leave letter has been submitted.

Discipline:

  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience, and disrespect towards members of the staff, theft, or bad moral influence justify dismissal. Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school.
  • Pupils are not allowed to interview parents or to leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the principal.

Class Parent's Day

The parents whose sons have failed in any subject are expected to meet the class teachers or the concerned subject teacher on the Class Parent's Day. Parents whose sons have passed in all subjects are also welcome to do the same.

Advice To Parents:

  • After each mid-term test and terminal exams, parents' meetings are held at a fixed time and date.
  • Must attend Sports Days, Teachers Day, Annual Day, KG Day, etc.
  • Should not contact the class teacher in person.
  • Contact the office for any concerns.
  • The school is not responsible for the jewels and other costly items of the students.

Birthday - On Pupil's Birthday:

  • Wear a colored new dress.
  • Books can be donated to the school library.
  • Sweets can be distributed by the concerned student.
  • Birthday wishes and cards are given for the student.

Tution:

  • No tuition is allowed before and after exams.

HomeWork:

  • Daily homework will be noted down in the diary by the students.
  • Parents should sign the diary daily.
  • Guides motivate the students to study at home.
  • Parents can communicate their remarks through the diary.

Homework Is Given With Two Main Objectives:

  • To provide exercise to increase progress and acquire skills.
  • To test and ascertain progress and skills acquired.

All work of the first type is generally classwork and need not be corrected in detail, but all work of the second type is corrected (i.e., homework proper).

In the lower classes, as far as possible, corrections are done in the presence of the pupil.

Parent's Cooperation:

  • Parents are expected to cooperate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality, and discipline and by taking a daily interest in their children's progress.
  • They should check the diary for any remarks and note the homework given.

Term Examinations:

  • If any case for absentees retest reexam won't be conducted. It will be noted down as "absent."

Term Test:

  • After a month of teaching, there will be a unit test on the units taught in each subject.
  • After the Terminal examination, the scripts of the students will be sent to the parents for their perusal and signature and should be returned within three days.
  • Progress Reports showing the application of the pupils and the results will be sent to the parents.

Class Monitors:

  • It is incumbent on all leaders to report to the principal or class teacher any breach of discipline noticed, even during the recess.
  • In the event of a teacher being absent, they must inform the principal within the first three minutes from the commencement of the period.
  • In the absence of the Class Monitor, the assistant shall function in the same capacity.

Objectionable Literature:

  • Boys are strictly forbidden to bring electronic gadgets to the class or to introduce any sort of comics or objectionable literature into the school.

Participation in Games and Functions:

  • Every pupil must take part in games and other activities unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the principal.

Attendance And Participations:

  • Attendance at official school functions like Parent's Day, Sports Day, Independence Day, etc., is compulsory. Absentees may be fined or penalized after every school examination.
  • Parents or guardians are requested to examine the Progress Report carefully and see the subjects in which their children are weak. They should attend the class Parents' Day held after every terminal exam.

Moral Instruction:

  • At the end of the school hour, school activities like the Lord's Prayer will be conducted in the school premises itself.

Breakfast Hour Canteen:

  • Roti will be available at the school during the breakfast hour.

Protection Of School Property:

  • It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls, desks, etc., throw paper or ink in the classroom, or in any way damage the school property. Damage done must be paid for at the discretion of the principal.

Responsibility Of Class Monitors:

  • Those securing 1st Rank in the Annual exam will be declared as class monitor for the new academic year.
  • Responsibilities include class control, cleanliness of the class, desk and bench arrangements, and other duties assigned by the teachers or principal.
